Yes, the name of the Daleview swim team is "The Feet". Swimmers of all ages (up to 18) and skill levels are encouraged to join. There's also a pre-team for young swimmers who can't yet swim a full length of the pool.
Daleview competes in the Montgomery County Swim League. Practice usually begins the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, and meets begin in mid-June and go on through mid-July.
This year Daleview will again compete in I Division, along with the following five teams: Little Falls, King Farm, North Chevy Chase, Norbeck Hills and Ashton.
Dual meets begin June 19th and run through July 17th; Divisionals are July 24th. The 2010 meet schedule is as follows:
- June 19 -- Daleview at Norbeck Hills (directions)
- June 26 -- Little Falls at Daleview
- July 3 -- Ashton at Daleview
- July 10 -- Daleview at King Farm (directions)
- July 17 -- North Chevy Chase at Daleview
